If you want to terminate your Lease before the expiration of your Lease Term, you will need to send notice to us at least 30 days before you intend to move out and pay the early termination fee that is stated in your Lease. During the notice period of 30 days the rent should still be paid in accordance to your Lease.
To extend your lease or continue month-to-month after your original Lease Term expires, you will need to send us notice at minimum 60 days before the end of the Lease Term. We will also reach out around that time to see which path you would like to take forward.
Other than the notices stated above, there isn't any paperwork that needs to be signed when moving out.
We have a "Move-Out Checklist" showing what the unit is expected to look like when we do the walkthrough inspection after you have left. Click below to view.
We try to return the security deposit back to you as quickly as possible. However, if there are repairs/cleaning needed, we need to wait for the contractor to repair/clean so that we have an exact figure of any charges that may come out of your deposit. We will return the applicable deposit amounts to you no later than 30 days after the property has been vacated as required by law.
